General notes
1. From the start, students should pay attention to their physical and mental preparation for Krav Maga training — conditioning the body, and joints in particular, to reduce the risk of injury.
2. Emphasis is placed on muscular and ligament stretching (PNF method).
3. Different strikes are practised on a heavy bag or shield, to get used to contact, work on precision, improve technique and build combinations. Strikes start light and increase in power over time.
4. Emphasis is placed on basic strikes, developing power, technique and speed to the fullest.
5. Training must adapt to students’ age, physical condition and mental capacity.
